DPF Restriction Test

DPF Restriction Test

Our experienced technicians carefully examine each filter, looking for signs of damage, warping, cracking, or corrosion. We also assess the level of soot, ash, and other contaminants present, which helps us determine the best cleaning approach for your specific needs.

A Pin test is performed to detect soot levels and any cracks or internal segmentation that may be affecting its performance.

Light Test - Failed Filter Example

This eye-opening video showcases the importance of thorough inspections and testing for your diesel particulate filter (DPF). Our technicians at Aftermarket DPF use advanced testing methods to detect any cracks, defects, or internal segmentation that may be affecting the performance of your aftertreatment system. In this video, we shine light through a failed filter, exposing the cracks and flaws that can lead to costly engine repairs and downtime.
